Ich wollte mir dieses Buch diesen Sommer kaufen, beschloss aber, zuerst \u201eNight Shift\u201c zu lesen. Meine Motivation wuchs, als ich herausfand, dass man, um das Abschlussabzeichen f\u00fcr die diesj\u00e4hrige Lese-Challenge auf Goodreads zu erhalten, eines der B\u00fccher aus der angegebenen Liste lesen muss. \u201eIhr wollt es dunkler\u201c ist eines davon. Ich habe das Buch auf Englisch gelesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eIhr wollt es dunkler\u201c ist eine Geschichtensammlung, die sich von anderen Geschichtensammlungen von Stephen King unterscheidet. Der Stil ist etwas anders, der Wortschatz ist weniger ausgefeilt und einige Geschichten im Buch \u201eIhr wollt es dunkler\u201c sind viel weniger dynamisch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stephen King ber\u00fchrt einige Themen, die bei Ihnen Trigger ausl\u00f6sen k\u00f6nnten. Zum Beispiel Au\u00dferirdische, Pandemie und Politik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar\u00fcber hinaus haben einige Geschichten und Novellen keinen klaren Anfang und kein klares Ende, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Viele Enden sind nicht vorhersehbar. Ich habe nur in der Geschichte \u201eDer f\u00fcnfte Schritt\u201c das Ende vorhergesagt. Das ist alles. Eines Tages st\u00f6\u00dft er mit einem Mann zusammen, der \u00e4hnlich gekleidet ist. Im n\u00e4chsten Moment wird er in einen Lieferwagen geschubst. Er wacht in einer Zelle auf, wo er gefoltert wird, um geheime Informationen preiszugeben. Pl\u00f6tzlich haben sie eine Reifenpanne und sehen M\u00e4nner, die eine Frau get\u00f6tet haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>G\u00e4nsehautfaktor: 2\/5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meine Bewertung: 2\/5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-red-screen\"><strong>7. \u201eDas rote Display\u201c <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(erstmals ver\u00f6ffentlicht im Red Screen E-Book (2021), Kurzgeschichte)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es geht um Menschen, die ihre Lieben get\u00f6tet haben, weil Au\u00dferirdische von ihnen Besitz ergriffen haben. Der Bildschirm des Telefons wird f\u00fcr eine Sekunde rot und zeigt damit an, dass die Person besessen ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Goosebumps factor: 3\/5&nbsp;(I found the story a bit creepy.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meine Bewertung: 4\/5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-8-the-turbulence-expert\"><strong>8. \u201eEin Fachmann f\u00fcr Turbulenzen\u201c <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(erstmals erschienen in \u201eFlight or Fright\u201c (2018), Kurzgeschichte)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Geschichte handelt von einem Turbulenzexperten in einem Flugzeug, der versucht, eine weitere Turbulenzexpertin anzuwerben. Dabei weist sie aber nicht, dass es f\u00fcr sie keinen Ausweg gibt, eine zu sein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich hatte das Gef\u00fchl, dass diese Geschichte an die Geschichte \u201eQuitters Inc.\u201c aus dem Buch \u201eNight Shift\u201c erinnert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>G\u00e4nsehautfaktor: 1\/5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meine Bewertung: 5\/5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-9-laurie\"><strong>9. \u201eLaurie\u201c <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(Erstver\u00f6ffentlichung stephenking.com (2018), Kurzgeschichte)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lloyd, ein trauernder Rentner, freundet sich mit einem Welpen namens Laurie an, was ihm zu einer besseren Gesundheit verhilft. W\u00e4hrend er mit Laurie spazieren geht, entdeckt er einen Alligator, der seinen Nachbarn get\u00f6tet hat, und entgeht nur knapp dem Angriff des Alligators. Im Laufe der Forschungsstudie nehmen die Probanden bestimmte Medikamente ein und schlafen ein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>G\u00e4nsehautfaktor: 2\/5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meine Bewertung: 3\/5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-12-the-answer-man\"><strong>12. \u201eDer Antwortmann\u201d <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(bisher unver\u00f6ffentlicht, Novelle)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eDer Antwortmann\u201c ist eine Person, die alle Ihre Fragen beantworten kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1937 begegnet Phil Parker, ein Harvard-Absolvent, dem mysteri\u00f6sen Antwortmann, der ihm seine Zukunft vorhersagt, darunter Heirat, eine florierende Praxis und das \u00dcberleben im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Im Laufe der Jahre erlebt Phil pers\u00f6nlichen und beruflichen Erfolg, aber auch tragische Verluste, darunter den Tod seines Sohnes und seiner Frau. In seinen sp\u00e4teren Jahren nimmt Phil wieder Kontakt zum Antwortmann auf und sucht schlie\u00dflich nach einem Verst\u00e4ndnis des Lebens und nach der jenseitigen Existenz, bevor er 1995 verstirbt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>G\u00e4nsehautfaktor: 1\/5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meine Bewertung: 4\/5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">Fazit:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Insgesamt war es eine gute Lekt\u00fcre. Es ist interessant zu verfolgen, wie sich Stephen Kings Schreibstil ver\u00e4ndert.
