They might also share the same county, city, and neighborhood or sharing the same age, lifestyle, and language. Customer segments support the marketing strategy to be active by highlighting some new niches that \u201ccan provide an opportunity for developing a new product\u201d (White, R., Hockley, A., Jansen, J. &amp; Laughner, M,2008, Chapter 4, p. 96). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In ELT as a business, dividing the market into segments helps to detect when and where an LTO can target one group by releasing specific offers to dominate the whole market. For example, the IELTS exam is a prerequisite for some high-school students to apply to universities. Therefore, marketers can make an offer for the high-school students to enroll in the preparation course with a discount only by the school ID. The segmentation can help LTOs to distinguish the lucrative segments to focus on.&nbsp; Camilleri (2018, Chapter 4, p.69) supported that by saying, \u201cBusinesses may decide to focus on just one or a few of these segments.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-marketing-mix\">Mezcla del marketing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Singh (2012:40) escribi\u00f3: \u201cLas empresas deben planificar un enfoque dirigido a estos cuatro componentes diferentes, que son Producto, Precio y Plaza y Promoci\u00f3n\u201d. Este es un consejo valioso para utilizar el concepto de mezcla de marketing. Estos datos pueden ayudar a las LTO a preservar la rentabilidad incluso en temporadas bajas. \u201cLa mezcla de marketing se reconoce como una estrategia utilizada para realizar funciones de marketing\u201d (Arachchige, 2002, p\u00e1g. 4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-marketing-plan\">Plan de marketing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despu\u00e9s de definir los clientes a los que va dirigido un producto, el equipo de marketing debe desarrollar un plan aplicable. Este plan se centra en las actividades vitales con resultados tangibles para lograr los objetivos de la organizaci\u00f3n. La definici\u00f3n precisa del plan de marketing son las acciones pr\u00e1cticas escritas de la estrategia con su cronograma y presupuesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El plan de marketing tiene el siguiente contenido:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Los pasos de implementaci\u00f3n&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La implementaci\u00f3n financiera&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Es necesario definir claramente qui\u00e9nes son los responsables de cada tarea del plan.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Un cronograma para los pasos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cualquier organizaci\u00f3n de marketing local ofrecer\u00e1 el mismo contenido mientras trabaja en su plan de marketing. Por supuesto, el plan variar\u00e1 de una organizaci\u00f3n de marketing local a otra. Las diferencias est\u00e1n en el tama\u00f1o, el mercado objetivo (nacional o internacional, o ambos), y los clientes a los que se dirige. No se trata solo de eso, sino tambi\u00e9n de su objetivo comercial como organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro o con fines de lucro.
