Fue una decisi\u00f3n espont\u00e1nea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En oto\u00f1o comenc\u00e9 a reflexionar sobre las desventajas de los desaf\u00edos de lectura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este a\u00f1o, los apagones m\u00e1s severos comenzaron en mayo. Normalmente, solo hay electricidad entre dos y cuatro horas diarias. Los rusos han estado bombardeando nuestras centrales el\u00e9ctricas sin parar. Mi vida se detuvo porque era dif\u00edcil trabajar y hacer otras cosas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00ed que tuve mucho tiempo libre para leer. En julio me puse como meta leer 50 libros antes de A\u00f1o Nuevo. El punto de partida fue junio. Por cierto, complet\u00e9 el reto a principios de octubre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-yoast-seo-table-of-contents yoast-table-of-contents\"><h2>Tabla de contenido<\/h2><ul><li><a href=\"#h-1-it-all-starts-with-fun\" data-level=\"2\">1. Todo comienza con disfrute<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Primero, estaba s\u00faper emocionada con eso y disfrut\u00e9 much\u00edsimo del reto de leer. Por ejemplo, le\u00ed 13 libros en julio y 15 en agosto. \u00bfImpresionante? \u00a1Claro que s\u00ed!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, en agosto el estr\u00e9s y la ansiedad tocaron a mi puerta. Hay desventajas de los retos de lectura que no hab\u00eda anticipado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-stress-and-anxiety\"><strong>2. Estr\u00e9s y ansiedad<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luego, me sent\u00ed s\u00faper estresada porque la app (\"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Goodreads<\/a>\") que sigue mi progreso me notific\u00f3 que ten\u00eda que leer 2.5 libros a la semana para completar el reto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cada vez que le\u00eda un libro, lo marcaba inmediatamente como \u201cle\u00eddo\u201d y luego buscaba en Google cu\u00e1ntas semanas faltaban para el A\u00f1o Nuevo, y calculaba cu\u00e1ntos libros deb\u00eda leer para seguir el ritmo del reto. Lo hac\u00eda porque esperaba que la app se hubiera equivocado y que pudiera leer menos de 2.5 libros a la semana. Esto me estresaba a\u00fan m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-reputation-strain\"><strong>3. Tensi\u00f3n de reputaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aceptar un gran reto de lectura puede generar presi\u00f3n, especialmente si no cumples con la meta. La gente podr\u00eda empezar a juzgar o cuestionar tu compromiso. Adem\u00e1s, podr\u00edas sentirte un poco avergonzada si no cumples con las expectativas, aunque al final se trata de disfrutar el proceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todos mis amigos sab\u00edan sobre el reto de lectura. Mis seguidores en redes sociales tambi\u00e9n. Si fracasara en el reto, parec\u00eda que ser\u00eda un fracaso \u00e9pico.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-time-and-effort\"><strong>4. Tiempo y esfuerzo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En julio, le\u00ed 15 libros. Fue sin esfuerzo. Honestamente, pens\u00e9 que mantendr\u00eda el mismo ritmo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En agosto, pas\u00e9 mucho tiempo buscando los libros que quer\u00eda leer, buscando librer\u00edas donde pudiera comprar esos libros y agreg\u00e1ndolos a mi lista de TBR (To Be Read) \u2014 Por Leer. En lugar de leer, estaba ocupada cazando libros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perd\u00ed tiempo. Me atras\u00e9 en mi plan de lectura. Adem\u00e1s, empec\u00e9 a entrar en p\u00e1nico, lo que resalt\u00f3 las desventajas de los retos de lectura.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para seguir el ritmo del reto, empec\u00e9 a buscar libros delgados (de hasta 200 p\u00e1ginas). Era una buena oportunidad para leer libros cl\u00e1sicos y terminar aquellos que no hab\u00eda acabado. Tambi\u00e9n perd\u00ed tiempo buscando libros delgados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fue entonces cuando me di cuenta de que ya se hab\u00eda ido demasiado lejos y que deb\u00eda hacer algo al respecto.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00e1s tarde ese mes, le\u00ed tres libros delgados y decid\u00ed relajarme y no prestar atenci\u00f3n a los n\u00fameros. Adem\u00e1s, le\u00ed menos libros en septiembre que en agosto. Pero todos los d\u00edas disfruto leer sin ning\u00fan estr\u00e9s.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Me di permiso para fallar. El mundo no se va a acabar si no leo 50 libros en 6 meses. Cuando te permites fallar, anticipas una de las desventajas de los retos de lectura que pueden afectar la salud mental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-unrealistic-expectations\"><strong>5. Expectativas poco realistas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ver los resultados de otros lectores, que leen entre 100 y 200 libros al a\u00f1o, me hizo pensar que yo tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda hacerlo. Luego, me di cuenta de que cada quien tiene su propio ritmo y circunstancias de vida. Aunque me considero un\/a lector\/a r\u00e1pido\/a (leo 250 palabras por minuto si no me interrumpen, y puedo leer a\u00fan m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido), parec\u00eda que no era suficiente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Muchos empresarios famosos leen 100 libros al a\u00f1o, logran escribir sus propios libros y dirigen negocios exitosos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lo que aprend\u00ed: mi meta de lectura para 2025 ser\u00e1 leer 50 libros, aunque haya le\u00eddo 79 libros del 1 de junio al 15 de diciembre de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-neglecting-other-areas-of-life\"><strong>6. Descuidar otras \u00e1reas de la vida<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta es otra desventaja de los desaf\u00edos de lectura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He notado que cuanto m\u00e1s leo, menos escribo y edito textos para mi blog. Honestamente, no me gusta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una de mis metas para 2025 es tener un equilibrio entre leer y escribir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estaba pensando en ponerme una meta de lectura para 2025: 150 libros al a\u00f1o. Sin embargo, cambi\u00e9 de opini\u00f3n. Creo que me voy a fijar como objetivo leer 75 libros. Si logro leer m\u00e1s, genial; y si no, tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 bien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">En Conclusi\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En resumen, los retos de lectura son geniales. Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n debemos ser conscientes de los lados negativos de estos retos.
