Creo que si sabemos por qu\u00e9 nuestros estudiantes cometen errores, podremos brindarles una mejor retroalimentaci\u00f3n. Conozco a muchas personas que fueron rega\u00f1adas por los profesores en la escuela primaria. Ahora, cuando son adolescentes o adultos, tienen miedo de equivocarse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este caso, es importante hacerles saber que est\u00e1 bien cometer errores, que el mundo no se acabar\u00e1 y que podemos aprender de nuestros errores.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\"El fracaso es instructivo. La persona que realmente piensa aprende tanto de sus fracasos como de sus \u00e9xitos.\"<\/p>\n<cite>John Dewey<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Es importante crear un ambiente de apoyo donde los estudiantes se sientan motivados a intentarlo, incluso si no lo logran. En mi opini\u00f3n, deber\u00edamos proporcionar comentarios m\u00e1s positivos. Si hay un error gramatical en una oraci\u00f3n, pero un estudiante usa vocabulario nuevo, debemos se\u00f1alar el uso correcto del vocabulario. Adem\u00e1s, cuando cometemos errores, nos ayuda a aprender, desarrollarnos y ser independientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-example-from-my-own-experience\"><strong>Ejemplo de mi propia experiencia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez, le di a mi estudiante un ejercicio en l\u00ednea como parte de su tarea. Pero durante nuestra lecci\u00f3n, quer\u00eda explicarle c\u00f3mo hacerlo. Hab\u00eda un corto al que le faltaban verbos y un men\u00fa desplegable para elegir el tiempo correcto del verbo. Hab\u00eda cuatro opciones. As\u00ed, si eliges una opci\u00f3n y no es correcta, puedes elegir otra. Si el otro no es correcto, puedes elegir otro, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mi alumno quer\u00eda hacer la primera frase juntos. Le di algo de tiempo para pensar y no me entromet\u00ed en su proceso de pensamiento. Su primera elecci\u00f3n no fue correcta. Ella esperaba que le dijera la respuesta correcta. Sin embargo, no lo hice. En cambio, le ped\u00ed que reconsiderara su elecci\u00f3n y eligiera otra opci\u00f3n. Agregu\u00e9 que no hab\u00eda nada malo en cometer errores. Ella se sorprendi\u00f3 porque yo era la \u00fanica. Aunque no era la primera vez que le dec\u00eda esto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sent\u00ed que fue mi error que mi alumno no memorizara, que est\u00e1 bien cometer errores y que es un proceso natural de aprendizaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-laziness-or-low-standards\"><strong>Pereza o bajos est\u00e1ndares<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfAlguna vez has escuchado de un estudiante que comete un error y lo corriges: \"Pero los hablantes nativos me entender\u00e1n, \u00bfno?\" Jes\u00fas, lo he o\u00eddo. No tengo derecho a llamarlos vagos pero, sinceramente, a veces pienso que lo son. Porque mis alumnos se niegan a trabajar en sus errores antes de que se fosilicen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00ed, les digo que ser\u00e1n comprendidos. Luego, agrego que mis alumnos no sonar\u00e1n profesionales y les recordar\u00e1n su prop\u00f3sito de aprender un idioma extranjero. Pero a\u00fan as\u00ed, algunos estudiantes son perezosos y esto es un desaf\u00edo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si los ni\u00f1os, adolescentes o adultos tienen est\u00e1ndares bajos, puede deberse a que sus familiares, amigos o colegas tambi\u00e9n los tienen. \u00bfQu\u00e9 opinas?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lack-of-motivation\"><strong>Falta de motivaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos sabemos que algunos estudiantes pierden la motivaci\u00f3n mientras aprenden un idioma extranjero. Puede haber diferentes motivos: burnout, estr\u00e9s, aburrimiento, sentirse abrumado, falta de objetivos claros o quiz\u00e1s ya haya alcanzado sus objetivos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las salidas es tener una conversaci\u00f3n honesta. Una vez result\u00f3 que mi alumno estaba abrumado y cansado, as\u00ed que le suger\u00ed tomar un descanso de una semana de nuestras clases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.betterhelp.com\/advice\/motivation\/common-causes-of-lack-of-motivation-and-how-to-overcome-them\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">betterhelp<\/a>\u201d estos son los signos que indican falta de motivaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>dificultad para comenzar con tareas o proyectos;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>dilaci\u00f3n o procrastinaci\u00f3n;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>falta de energ\u00eda y entusiasmo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>desinter\u00e9s en actividades que antes se disfrutaban;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>di\u00e1logo interno negativo y dudas sobre uno mismo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>aumento del ausentismo o tardanzas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tiredness-stress-and-anxiety\"><strong>Cansancio, estr\u00e9s y ansiedad<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando los estudiantes est\u00e1n cansados o estresados, tienden a perder palabras y utilizan formas m\u00e1s simples. Sin embargo, pueden corregirse a s\u00ed mismos si se los pide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, cuando los estudiantes est\u00e1n nerviosos, pueden formar oraciones inconexas con numerosas vacilaciones o hablar con monos\u00edlabos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para reducir el estr\u00e9s, antes de la lecci\u00f3n, puede preguntar a sus alumnos c\u00f3mo les gustar\u00eda que los corrigieran. Puedes usar colores. Por ejemplo, haz tres c\u00edrculos y color\u00e9alos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#ff6666\">Rojo: por favor, no me corrijas hoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#ff9f00\">Amarillo: corr\u00edgeme, pero no demasiado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#9dcd5a\">Verde: s\u00ed, corr\u00edgeme, \u00a1por favor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-carelessness\"><strong>Descuido<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En este caso, los estudiantes no prestan suficiente atenci\u00f3n; podr\u00edan estar distra\u00eddos. Por ejemplo, pueden decir: \u201c\u201cI\u2019ll be in a minute. I am just wearing my coat\u201d. Esto tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda deberse a que la persona est\u00e1 cansada o a que el idioma es diferente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tengo un estudiante que estudia en una universidad. Suele hacer sus deberes mientras est\u00e1 en una conferencia y no le gusta. Puedo detectarlo instant\u00e1neamente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-interlanguage-stage-mother-tongue-interference\"><strong>La etapa interlengua<\/strong>\/<strong>interferencia de la lengua materna<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Es una etapa en la adquisici\u00f3n del lenguaje en la que los individuos integran elementos de la estructura, pronunciaci\u00f3n y reglas de su propio lenguaje con el idioma de destino. Por ejemplo: \u201cI have gone shopping yesterday.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-over-application\"><strong>Sobreaplicaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando los estudiantes aprenden una regla, pueden aplicarla a todos los casos. Por ejemplo, cuando aprenden Past Simple. Los estudiantes saben que formamos el pasado simple agregando el sufijo -ed. Este es un ejemplo de aplicaci\u00f3n excesiva: \u201cI goed shopping yesterday\u201d. S\u00ed, los estudiantes han aprendido que sumamos \u2013ed cuando usamos Past Simple. Pero probablemente a\u00fan no hayan aprendido los verbos irregulares, o no hayan aprendido qu\u00e9 verbos son regulares y cu\u00e1les son irregulares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-translation\"><strong>Traducci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras hablan o escriben, algunos estudiantes pueden traducir de su lengua materna. Por ejemplo, los estudiantes podr\u00edan decir \"por favor\" cuando le dan algo a alguien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puede haber diferentes razones para esto. Por ejemplo, si a los estudiantes se les pidiera que tradujeran mucho cuando comenzaron a aprender un idioma extranjero.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-developmental-errors\"><strong>Errores de desarrollo<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un error de desarrollo es un error cometido por un estudiante de una segunda lengua, que tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda cometer un ni\u00f1o que aprende su lengua materna como parte de su desarrollo normal. Un estudiante de un segundo idioma podr\u00eda cometer el error porque est\u00e1 aplicando una regla que ha aprendido y que no funciona para este caso particular, por ejemplo, \u201ca books.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-fossilized-error\"><strong>Un error fosilizado<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un error fosilizado es un error que se ha vuelto (casi) permanente en el idioma de un estudiante y se ha convertido en un h\u00e1bito. Por lo general, los errores fosilizados no pueden corregirse f\u00e1cilmente. Por ejemplo, es posible que un estudiante de B2 habitualmente no agregue una \"s\" cuando dice verbos en presente simple en tercera persona del singular.
