This is the 17th year in a row I am analyzing a year. I like doing it, using categories. They do differ. For example, when I was 16 my summary was not detailed and had other categories. But this is a totally different story! Let’s have a look at my 2021🥂

Not all habits which are “good” turned out good for me.
For example, I wanted to sleep better with lavender tea before bed. But, it turned out that I could not sleep at all as because of it, I wanted to pee all night. So, there was no point in sticking to this habit.
I track 9 habits. Some I track because I want to stick to them. Some I track because I wanna know if I really do those things as often as I want. Perception is faulty, often.
For example, I apply masks to my hair. My aim is to do it once a week. However, I have noticed that I skip it. My goal was to know how often I ignore it and when I do it.
Another example is I track my body care. Body Care in the sense of applying peeling, masks along with some cream and fluids. Whereas a separate of mine applies fluid/cream right after the shower.
This year I’ve been using a free app – Habits. There you can set reminders (I don’t use them), set how often you want to do something, and have good analytics.
Some habits I’ve been tracking: body care masks, body care fluid/peeling, skincare masks/peeling, skincare (morning + evening).
In May, I set a habit – of getting ready for the IPA exam every day. After that, I started believing that most of the habits you want every day are a kind of utopia (except for brushing your teeth and washing your face). I will write more about setting habits every day later.

My main goal was to go on doing my MA degree in Applied Neuroscience and Neuropsychology at a Spanish uni. So I wanted to submit all my tasks, not on the last day of the deadline. But apparently, this is my way of studying at this uni. So now, I am not sure why exactly I wanted this thing as it didn’t interfere with my life.
I planned to go to the beach club, which is in my hometown, twice a month. But I’ve been to that beach club two times. I could not go there more often because there were many reasons which I could not control, unfortunately.
I planned to spend less than 20% of my income on beauty products. I failed in this. But I cannot say that I suffered from it. On the contrary, I felt free that I could buy things I wanted/needed for my face, body, hair, feet, and hands. Spend no more than 10% of my income on charity. I managed to do it. I find this percentage generous. I donate to savewild.org (a bear shelter), cat and dog shelters, funerals, and some cases of sick people I know.
I planned to go out with my husband every weekend, and we did. Every Saturday and Sunday (from April to December), we would go for a walk and eat out. In addition, we often went on drives. I like just going around the city, with no traffic jams, listening to good music, singing to it, and drinking wine (I do not drive). Unfortunately, we went on a mini-trip only once this year (I mean staying at a hotel and having time off) because of the pandemic. Although, I did not plan any trips for this year.
I planned to print out less, use less paper, and recycle ♻️ paper. I succeed in it like 99%. I did not stop printing out things I needed. I am not going to do it. Also, I am not going to stop using paper planners or notebooks. Recycling is just enough for me now.

Overall, I am satisfied with my professional development this year.
I believe a separate analysis must be done for my studies at the Spanish university (Applied Neuroscience and Neuropsychology).
Besides, I have completed a significant course (which I do every year) on Speech-Language Pathology from a national university. I wrote a research study in this course – “Speech disorders in patients with schizophrenia.” Of course, I could have chosen something easier. Still, I wanted to select a topic that would motivate me to write my research paper. If you know what I mean.
I improved my skills in filming videos, especially in editing. And it brings me income now.
I have learned a lot about domains (where to buy, how to transfer), design (of a website, images), fonts (which front go well together), colors (which ones go together, how we should use them), neuroscience of colors, designs, neuro-brain-friendly designs of websites, how to design a website for people with visual impairment. And it brings me income now.
Mainly I was inspired by the Canva community and their annual conference. I have watched some of their webinars and workshops too.
I attended conferences and psychiatry and neurology workshops and even got certificates with European CME credits.
In addition, I attended numerous professional conferences in digital marketing and got many takeaways.

I wanted to spend weekends with my husband out – eating out, walking, going on a drive. So every weekend (April – December), we would do it. It was great! I tried to take as many pics as possible to memorize those moments.
We went to my hometown often and even stayed there for 4 days at a hotel. So I had opportunities to go to the beach club and spend more time with our cats. It was cool. However, I had to work at times.
Every day, twice a day, I had my skincare. Every week I had peelings and masks for my face and my body. I even started to track it to be sure how often I did it.
I bought even more beauty products for my face + body.
I managed to watch (read as listen to) many tv-series and movies.
As a part of my me-time, I could mention filming for my YT channel and ING. Almost every Saturday, we had filming time. I was always happy about it.
All my time – 24/7 – is mine, so it is me-time. I want it to be forever. However, I am aware that some circumstances might ruin it. Let’s hope for the best.
Reading.
I am not sure that it can be put into the me-time category. I read about work only. Lately. Which I like. So, again, I am not sure which category it falls into.
I’ve been to a hair and beauty salon – cut my super long hair and have my not colored hair, as I feel that soon it will turn grey. JTFC (Jesus Titty F****g Christ)

Just a few words about it. I will not reveal my full analysis here. But

I am often asked how I know it ⬆️. It is not complicated. I write a list of clients and use this pie chart, which gives me the percentage automatically. BTW,
I will add the part I called “things I created in 2021, “but I believe a bit later. Maybe I will think of more things to add to the categories here, so I will add them, duh.
To learn means by practice, by inquiring, by analyzing to find out what is, not what was.
